SOLD!!! Jacoba Marina is thriving with love and attention at her new home in Bergholz, Ohio. Her new mother Marge Meriwether fell in love with Jacoba at the Friesian World Show this October 2007!! Jacoba strutted her stuff on the Friesian Drill Team, Dressage Test and in flat classes!!! She placed EVERY time!!! Congratulations Marge and Jacoba – truly a match made in heaven…..
Jacoba was the first Friesian born on Carousel Ridge in July of 2003. From the get go this lady wants to be in the center of it all! Always the first to greet you in the morning and the first to want something to do. Active gal who always plays in the water trough! As a two year old she spent part of the summer on Mackinac Island , learning to be comfortable with island life, including tourists - bicyclists - large carriage tours with 30 people - cannons going off, etc.. She gained lots of confidence last year. This summer she spent 30 days in professional drive training and did well in a team of 4 and doubles. Jacoba will be professionally broke to ride in November and December, after which she can then relax and prepare herself for her foal with Rinste 386, an Approved FPS Stallion, in mid March of 2007.
Rintse is a very fancy stallion with a luxurious mane and forelock. In the Netherlands Rintse was very successful in the dressage arena competing through M2 level and schooling Z1 and Z2. He is an honest, friendly stallion who enjoys his work. He is 16 hands and has a noble small head.
Jacoba has had 3 months of training under her....Her gaits are fluid, forward and becoming more and more balanced. She breaks into the canter easily and at this young age holds it without any difficulty and remains together. Each time she is being worked she is almost naturally coming on the bite with ease.
