Born: July 3rd, 2006 Rhea is a beautiful, modern built mare that stands over 16 hands tall. She comes from the prestigious fps/fhana stam 50 line – the most powerful line in producing the greatest number of approved Friesian Stallions. Rhea's lineage is very impressive – S, S + Pref*8, Model + Pref*5, Model +Pref*5!! Rhea's grandmother Setske F. produced Beart 411, her great grandmother Kingke produced Barteld 292 and Otte 626 and her great great grandmother Namke produced Walter 282!!! And if that isn't enough, her Grand Sire is the one and only Oege 267 Preferent….As you can see Rhea has the genes to become a very special broodmare if that is the direction you wish to go with her.
As a 3 year old, Rhea was sent to Carrie Wilson (trainer for the Dutch approved Friesian Stallions Sipke & Doaitsen) for 3 months and then again in the spring of 2010 for 2 months. Carrie was impressed with all of her gaits and found her easy to ride and light on the aids. Rhea spent that summer on Mackinac Island and was exposed to everything from bikes zipping passed her to 3 horse hitches loaded with tourists. She was a perfect trail horse and even went on a Friesian Force ride through downtown. Rhea loads in the trailer, has good ground manners and stands for the farrier and vet. She loves attention and wants to be dotted on.
Rhea has not been worked since September of 2010, when she came off the Island. I have too many horses to work the way they deserve and need to downsize. I have her mother Jetske for anyone wishing to see the quality of her parentage – you won't be disappointed. Rhea has not been to a Dutch keuring yet and so she is still in the foal book of fps/fhana and because of that I am offering her to the right home for only $13,900.00 (firm)
Note: Zetha has been sold and is no longer available!
Zeth A. Pearl "Ster" x Anton 343 "Sport"
Zetha A. was born on March 25th, 2007…. She was an active foal, always busy exploring and ready to see what you are doing…. At the Hastings Keuring in 2007 she received a 2nd premium… The judges were very impressed with her trot and gave her a 7.5, one of only a few other foals to acquire that high score. Since her maturation is going slowly it was recommended to wait to bring her back until she was at least 5. Zetha stands at 15 – 1 ½ and should mature to 15 – 2 to 15 – 2 1/2 hands tall…Taking after her dad, she has good feathering, her tail drags on the ground so we trim it to prevent her from stepping on it… Her mane is beautiful and growing again since she would put her head thru the fence to get the grass on the other side – the bottom is already at her shoulder and the top part is catching up!.. Zetha is not a lazy horse – again taking after her dad and mom – she is very forward! When she was 3 1/2 yrs old she went to Carrie Wilson for 60 days training (Trainer/Rider for the Vanderploegs Approved Friesian Stallion Sipke and the recent arrival back into the U.S. the Friesian Stallion Doaitsen!) This is what she had to say about Zetha: " Zetha is a very well put together horse that was fun to work with. She has a great attitude and likes to work. Zetha has three very good gates and will make someone a great sporthorse. Even as a three year old she was very balanced in her way of going and has a great canter".
Since Anton343 "Sport" is now retired from Breeding , there are very few mare offspring available for sale! Breeders and Friesian enthusiasts hang on to the Antons' daughters for good reason – they are SPECIAL - as you can see from Antons' profile….. Zetha is confirmed pregnant to the beautiful Anne 340 "Sport" (More information on Anne 340. View video below.) for a May 2012 foal. Zetha has solid "Ster" and "Ster + perferent" behind her… This 2 for 1 Anton daughter is available for your consideration to an approved home only. $17,000.00 (this price is null once the foal is born and will be sold separately)
